This is an ampule-packed reagent of 25% glutaraldehyde which can be used as a general tissue fixation solution. Using this reagent as well as Methanol-free 16% paraformaldehyde (methanol-free 16% formaldehyde) is very convenient for preparation of the Karnovsky fixation solution. It can be used in a fresh state by encapsulation of the inert gas. In addition, it is a single-use reagent of high convenience.
