Fetuin is a mixture of glycoproteins and exhibits a variety of physiological activities including cell proliferation, adhesion and advancement of various adhesive cells, and protease activity.
Fetuin is a mixture of proteins including various growth factors and adhesive factors found in the bovine fetal serum. The major protein constituent is α-1 glycoprotein of 48.4 kDa in molecular weight. In addition, it consists of α-1 globulin, α-2 globulin, β-globulin and various growth factors such as IGF and FGF.
This product has been purified from cattle produced in Australia or New Zealand.
