Avidin is a lower molecuar basic glycoprotein consisting of our identical subunis present in egg-white.
Derived from egg whites, neutralite avidin has a near-neutral isoelectric point attained through deglycosylation and amino acid modifications. Non-specific binding is inhibited due to attenuation of its affinity for lectin. Furthermore, pH-dependent non-specific interaction has been minimized to achieve stronger affinity to biotin compared to conventional avidin or streptavidin.
